Colorful and quirky glass bangle fragments drilled and reworked into beads. These originally came from Iran, circa 6th CE - 7th CE which would make them late Sassanian Empire or early Islamic Era. Good Turkmen Tekke “Bukhara” carpet. This piece has a few tiny holes that can’t be seen when lying on the floor and minor repairs. The kilim head ends are missing but over all very a very pretty rug with an intricate design and very supple weave and soft wool. Circa 1920, L: 160cm/63in and W: 110cm/43in.
