Celadon bottle vase, from Jingdezhen and therefore a porcelain rather than a stoneware although the glaze borrows heavily from the Longquan glaze. This is quite a heavy piece with an incised abstract lotus pattern and Yuhuchunping shape very much in the classic Ming Style. There is one tiny repair on the mouthrim noted in enlargements. H: 24.8cm/9.8in and D: 15.4cm/6in.

Beautiful circa 1880 area rug from the Shirwan area in the Caucasus. This has been restored, repaired, reselvedged and head ends stabilized over the years, so examine the enlargements closely. To get this kind of repair now would cost a lot more than what I am asking it. The drawing is still quite clear and sharp with a very charming design. All natural dyes- 149cm/58.5in x 107cm/42in.

Exceptionally fine and rare Western Jin Dynasty Yueyao Ware ewer from the Zhejiang celadon kilns. This has the classic chicken head spout which is well documented and may be found in many reference books. This is in perfect condition with minimal glaze degradation. The glaze is quite beautiful and has a deep celadon color for a piece from this period. Please examine enlargements to see the lovely cracalature in the pooling near the top. H: 26cm/10.2in and D: 16.5cm/6.5in.

Beautiful nephrite “belt” loop at least Qing Dynasty possibly earlier. This can be repurposed into a lovely pendant. Included is a faux leather cord with a clasp that you can crimp on to one side to custom fit the length. This stone has quite a striking vivid green color so it may be possibly be aventurine which closely resembles jade in color and hardness but as this came out of China this would be quite rare. L: 4.7cm/1.9in, W: 2.8cm/.9in and 1.1cm/4in thick...

Beautiful and elegant 10th century circa Late Five Dynasties to Early North Song Dynasty lobed saucer. This is a very classic Yue ware glazed saucer from the Shanglinhu kiln complex in Zhejiang. This is the same family of kilns that produced the famous Bi-Se/Mi-Se “secret ware” discovered from Famen Temple in Xian. Very thinly potted this piece with an organic flower shaped body, has been repaired so please examine enlargements. D: 14.2cm/5.5in and H: 3.8cm/1.5in.

Very rare early Tang Dynasty bronze vase. There is one repair noted in enlargement 5# where the previous owner had knocked an 8mm hole on the side, he kept the original chip and I simply glued it back in and covered the fracture with a bit of original bronze filings. This is covered in typical azurite verdigris- beneath the bronze is quite stable and thick so this might be able to be either manually or chemically or cleaned. H: 26.5cm/10.5in and D: 12cm/4.8in...

Very rare man’s ceremonial tunic from the Chin ethnic group, probably Falam Township, Chin State Myanmar. I would consider this an antique heirloom blanket between 1910-1940 finely woven from hand spun cotton thread and natural dyes. This incorporates the classic Chin diamond twill weft pattern as well as double side embroidery...

Collection of Miao vintage and antique (most likely) sleeve panels from Guizhou. These date from about 40 to 80 years old; please bear in mind, the ability to do this kind of work has pretty much died out as the economic development in Chinese has caused most young women in the villages to move to the city for better employment opportunities. Textiles still play an important part in Miao life but much of what is produced today is done by machine rather than hand...

Pretty and old China carpet woven in Beijing/Tianjin circa 1910, with floral design throughout. Worn down to the warp and weft in many places but no big tears and the selvedge seems to be complete and intact- please examine enlargements. A clever bunny could take a blue felt tipped pen and color in the white bits in the blue field (an old rug wallah trick). The colors are a nice pastel and would look good in a room with a Chinese or Asian theme...

Exceptionally rare Southern Song, Zhejiang celadon water dropper in the shape of a double gourd ewer with a fine glaze. This piece has had the spout repaired with silver and has some cracks- please view enlargements. My photo editing software has truncated this piece a bit so it is more graceful than the pictures would indicate. H: 8cm/3.2in.

Exceptionally fine celadon bowl from the Tong’an kiln in Fujian province. Although wares from this kiln were exported to Japan and Indonesia most had a yellowish hue to them and the glazes are quite flaky, this one is a classic celadon color comparable with Longquan and Yaozhou and came directly from China therefore not meant to be an export ware. This has a well executed incised floral scroll and central medallion on a “sieve” pattern...

Classic Tang Dynasty high fired conical shaped shallow bowl with typical “Bi” shaped footrim and Yue celadon glaze from a Zhejiang Kiln. Fine embroidered patch possibly from an old Chinese baby hat or one of the many Miao groups but to be honest I am not sure. The pattern seems more abstract than a typical Chinese piece with crimped metal alloy decorations. Circa 60 to 90 years old with very intricate and detailed stitching- minor losses to some of the metal bits. Free shipping via Hong Kong Registered Airmail. L: 17.5cm/7in and W: 14cm/5.5in.
