Exceptionally large and finely preserved (pity its broken- viewable in enlargements) 9 band etched carnelian bead from the Pyu culture circa 300 CE to 700 CE. Describing this as a “military” bead is fairly apocryphal but seems to be the widely accepted term in bead collecting circles, and are said to indicate some sort of rank.
