Extremely rare hemp fiber double layered plaid Miao textile with a silk and cotton thread banded central panel on one side. This is from the Malipo Miao ethnic group in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan bordering Vietnam. I am uncertain as to the function of this piece.
