Pottery head of a female court attendant from the Han Dynasty. A lovely face with sensitive features, original red pigments on face, this image embodies the most classic style of Han sculpture. There is an iron armature in the neck that was most likely part of a new restoration. Special offer: if you are a clever bunny and have deft hands at restoration I’ll include the entire image for an additional $50.00. Rare statue of a woman and child standing from Sichuan, Han Dynasty. Very poignant image of a small child leaning into its mother. The image though quite simple is very emotive capturing the feeling affection between them. There may some repair behind the head as the clay has a different color and texture but it is the same hardness and color when I scratch it, so in all honesty it is difficult to tell, for sure either way. H: 22.5cm.

Fine old Chinese nephrite jade, circa Tang Dynasty or earlier. This piece has been crisply cut and polished on all sides and edges, the tiny holes drilled front and back indicate that this piece was possibly a garment fastener which was held on with either gold or silver wire. An excellent study piece for the new collector. 5.8cm/2.3in x 3.2cm/1.4in.
