Delightful gilt bronze button or belt ornament depicting a bear. This still has about 50% of the original gilding, there are a couple of casting flaws that may be seen in the third enlargement where it is a bit thin and you can see to other through it, but not in of it self damage as it was just made this way. Included is a custom fitted box, free shipping via Hong Kong Registered Airmail is included in purchase price. D: 2.4cm/0.96in, weight 7 grams. This piece is heavy for its size ...

Rare small vase for the scholar’s desk with chocolate brown bronze glaze circa 19th century Qing Dynasty. There is one small chip inside the foot rim noted in enlargement #3. Otherwise perfect condition. H: 12.1cm/4.7in and D: 6.8cm/2.6in. Please note that the vase is more slender than the images might indicate so I have taken one with it laying on its side.

Ensemble of excavated gilt bronze and repoussé artifacts. These are for the knowledgeable collector. Two of the “silvery” pieces appear to be “pak tong” alloy. The Sino Tibetan cloud scrolls and “pack tong” seem to be unrelated and the dragon on the leaf appears to be Tang. Anyway I can guarantee all these “bits” to be over 100 years old and most likely much older. Condition: what you see is what you get. Scale is in last enlargements. If I had the skill, I’d c...

Stunning bronze sword handle from the Dian Kingdom that paralleled the Han Dynasty. Judging from the heavy triangular pommels and spikes near the blade, these were designed for close quarter combat that would look right at home in a fight scene out of Game of Thrones. This has a classic azurite patina with traces of the original iron blades. The Dian were a fierce and independent kingdom living in the vicinity of Dianchi Lake in Yunnan Province which chronologically paralleled the Warr...

Nice little bronze image of a standing robed monk; conservatively dating to circa Song to Ming Dynasties. This would have been attached to a base with a larger central Buddha image. Fine patina- H: 5.3cm/2.2in.

Good bronze bowl from the Khmer culture circa 11th/12th CE. There is one possible repair on the side (noted in enlargements) as the surface seems softer than the rest of the piece- but I could be wrong. Typical Khmer patina and pitting as to be expected from old bronze. D: 16cm/6.2in and H: 9cm/3.5in.
