~Sold to New Zealand, cheers!~ $230.USD

Ming yuhuchunping bottle vase with dragon chasing a flaming pearl and waves motif from a Fujian kiln. The mouth rim had a few chips, so I opted to add a silver rim, (if you can’t hide it- decorate it). There are several stress fractures running off the footrim onto the body and one chip in the footrim itself patched with plaster. H: 14.5cm/5.2in and D:10.5/4.2in .

Beautiful 18th century Qing Dynasty celadon glazed porcelain with classic Bi shaped footrim and stunning almost aquamarine “ice cracalature” glaze. D: 12.8cm/5.1in and H: 4.5cm/1.8in

~Sold to the U.S., thanks a bunch!~ $350.USD

Exquisite pair of light turquoise small bowls with apocryphal zhuanshu seal script Yongzheng mark. It has been quite difficult trying to get the exact color with my photo editing software, so enlargement #3 best approximates the original color even if it does look a bit on the “lavenderish” side. These are exceptionally fine examples of Jingdezhen 1960s copies of imperial pieces and I will guarantee them to this time. Christies N.Y. sold an original bowl similar to these for $103,000 ...click for details

$550.USD

Exceptionally rare classic “pea green” celadon glazed vase from the early Qing Yongzheng/Qianlong. The “brown wash” inside the footrim is typical of Qianlong and guaranteed to be of this period or earlier. The mouthrim of the vase has been lined with copper, this is a very old style of restoration no longer done today and probably dates to the late Qing- please see enlargements. The color on this glaze is outstanding and the “ice crackle” cracalature resembles that of the famous Gu ...click for details

~Sold to Hong Kong, doh jie lei!~$1600.USD

Rare Yuan Dynasty four combed handled bottle with calligraphy, brown and white glazes, dipped in a white slip on upper half. This is a classic and well documented piece. There is fritting, cracalature, a minor hairline on mouthrim and chip on side and footrim (please examine enlargements), entirely consistent with period and materials. As is typical of Yuan ceramics what this piece lacks in the elegance of the Song Dynasty is compensated by its confidence and pragmatic purpose. H: 28 ...click for details

Exceptionally rare amber sancai glazed Liao (907 CE – 1125 CE) tomb guardian (zhenmu shou). The Liao were a non Han, Buddhist culture contemporary to Five Dynasties and Northern Song, but assimilated the Chinese burial custom of building mortuary chambers with wall murals that show its origins in Tang culture and internment of precious goods. Liao funeral statues are very rare, I can find one published example of an unglazed pottery attendant (“Artistic Legacy of the Qidan” Art Mus ...click for details

$250.USD

Good Jizhou glazed jar from the Jingdezhen kiln with lid circa Southern Song Dynasty. Please note that the lid and body are slightly different as the lid’s glaze lacks the cracalature of the body with more of “tea dust” type glaze. Possibly from the same kiln- “matched but not married”. Having said this they look good together and unless closely scrutinized its hard to notice. There is a small chip and tiny frit on the lid, otherwise in good condition. H: 11cm/4.2in and D: 11cm/ ...click for details

$1200.USD

Exceptionally rare small Tang lion from the Changsha Kiln, in Hunan Province. Almost 99% of all wares from this kiln are subject to heavy flaking and fritting of the glaze so this piece has been professionally restored and the glaze stabilized, using modern and up to date materials. Please examine the enlargements carefully. This is a vessel of some sort with a serviceable spout in the mouth most likely meant for the scholar’s desk. H: 7cm/2.8in.
