Prett little three segmented blue and white porcelain brush washer with floral pattern, used to mix water colors. Mid Qing Dynasty circa Daoguang to Tongzhi reigns, (1821~1874). A few tiny pin sized bubble bursts on rim but no damage. D:10.8cm/4.2in and H: 3cm/1.2in.

Nice pair of Southern Song, small bowls from Jian kilns in Fujian. The first bowl is solid black with a brown rim and subtle hare’s fur markings beneath, this one has a star hairline crack noted in enlargements and the second bowl has an obvious firing crack with stunning russet highlights beneath a brown rim and hare’s fur markings. These are both very thinly potted and delicate. Bowl 1#, D: 10cm/3.9in and H: 4.5cm/3.8in. 2#, Bowl D: 9.3cm/3.6in and H: 4.4cm/1.8in,

Three Song Dynasty Jian type temokku glazed bowls from Dongzhang or Minhou kilns in Fujian province. These have nice color but have repairs the worst is noted in enlargements, but the rest are quite small on the rims. Discovering the rest would require me to scrape them with knife which would defeat the purpose of them being repaired in the first place. These were recovered from the Tinghai Lianjiang wreck off the coast of Fujian about 15 years ago. D: 11cm/4.3in and H: 4cm/1.5in.

Good celadon glazed porcelain small moon flask (possibly a snuff or medicine bottle) with exceptionally fine color and chrysthanthemum petaled pattern with “long life” medallion in center, circa Qianlong reign (1736-1795CE), Qing Dynasty. Classic Tang Dynasty tazza with dark amber\brown glaze, elegant rolled footrimas and iron oxide metallic patina. The glaze is stable with no repairs and a lovely shape. Minor fritting, a spot of kiln grit and chips on inner edge of mouthrim (see enlargements). D: 13.3cm/5.2in and H: 6.8cm/2.8in.

Ming yuhuchunping bottle vase with dragon chasing a flaming pearl and waves motif from a Fujian kiln. The mouth rim had a few chips, so I opted to add a silver rim, (if you can’t hide it- decorate it). There are several stress fractures running off the footrim onto the body and one chip in the footrim itself patched with plaster. H: 14.5cm/5.2in and D:10.5/4.2in .

Beautiful 18th century Qing Dynasty celadon glazed porcelain with classic Bi shaped footrim and stunning almost aquamarine “ice cracalature” glaze. Given that this has such a wide and flat inner surface this may have been used as a brushwasher. Excellent condition with only some minor scratching in the bottom. D: 12.8cm/5.1in and H: 4.5cm/1.8in
