description: Song Dynasty Jun glazed shallow bowl. Very uncommonly colored glaze that has been lightly applied to achieve the light brown highlights in the center and along the edge of the rim. There are “worm tracks” throughout the glaze which is one of the hallmarks of the Jun glaze. Condition good, some fritting along the inner and outer edges of the rim. Other than that no other imperfections. A similar item with a much more degraded glaze was auctioned by Shanghai Auction House for USD$460. on 19/6/2000 lot #7.Dimensions 11.8cm/4.7 in diameter 5.3cm/2,2in diameter at footrim and 3cm/1.2in height.
