| Rare high fired white ivory toned Cizhou type bowl from a Northern kiln circa 10th CE- Late 5 Dynasties to Early Northern Song. This piece has a light gray body dipped in a white slip and covered to the footrim in a clear transparent glaze. There is some staining in the glaze, I have had it cleaned but it will not come out, please see enlargements, minor firing flaw on the mouthrim i.e., a tiny glazed over firing crack, also noted in last enlargement.
