Strand of Yuan/Ming Dynasty glass trade beads excavated from the Tak Hilltop burial site along the Thai Burmese border. These are datable to the 14th to 16th CE, because of datable ceramics found the same strata, so it is easy to date these beads being from no later than this period, although archaic jade items over a thousand years old were found as well. Scale is in enlargements. For the exception of some roughly faceted “crystal” like glass beads (possibly Dutch) these are all Chinese trade beads and are found from Yunnan China into most of continental SE Asia. Please examine enlargements for condition. L: 84cm/33in.
