Collection of 5 silver Gaden Tangka Tibetan coins minted between 1840 and 1930. Frequently (and erroneously) called Dalai Lama coins which were struck as presentation gifts to monks in the late 1940s- were made of pure silver, these are approximately 70% silver mixed with 30% copper. The most common issues are from 1897 to 1925 and will date these as such. Reference: Oriental Numismatics Society, Occasional Paper #17, N.G. Rhodes 1983. These are quite attractive pieces with Tibetan script on side and a lotus with the 8 auspicious symbols on the other. Usually these sell for $30 or more on EBay so I would consider these as a wholesale price. Shipping via Hong Kong Registered Airmail are included as part of purchase price. I have a few lots of these but the ones pictured are the ones you will get, email me if you want more (price is the same though). Condition: good/circulated average diameter 2.7cm/1in.
