description: Ban Chiang terra cotta bowl with red and white pigment and incised pattern on base. Condition: every piece of Ban Chiang ware I have observed has had quite a bit of restoration, having said this, this item has less the most. The stem of the bowl is new and has been cleverly constructed to reattach the base and bowl which are matched and of the period. Please note in the smaller photos where the repair is pointed out. Dimensions: 18.5cm/7.2in height and 21cm/8,2in at widest point.
