| Ensemble of three Tibetan Phurbus from Northwest Sichuan Province, 19th CE. Used in Tantric and Shamanistic healing rituals, these may have been used by Bon practitioners, which predates Buddhisim in Tibet, as the area these were sourced in, Bon is still the main religion. Dimensions and condition: 1# 28.5cm/11.2in most of the tines are missing from the crowns above the faces, and a crack in the center (dorje) handle, 2# 33cm/13in no damage and 3# 27cm/10.6in some lacquer has rubbed off ear lobes other than that in fine condition. | ||||||||||||
