Early 19th century Lanna style Buddha from Nan Province, Thailand with good features and serene expression. Very heavily cast with some silver added to the bronze which gives this piece a very attractive light and smooth patina. Condition as pictured in enlargements i.e. casting damage on the bottom but is mounted on custom made perspex base. Mounted height 16.5cm/6.5in (unmounted 15.2cm/6in) and actual width of the image is 9.4cm/3.6in.
