description: Blanc de Chine very pale blue (if it was any darker you could call it lavender), incense burner. The quality and lack of a well defined footrim inclines me to put this as early Qing. The glaze and potting on this piece are really beautiful however there is a simple repair and crack right on the edge of the rim,(just turn it the other way so you don’t have to see it when displayed), noted in enlargements. D: 12.2cm/4.8in and W: H: 6.5cm/2.5in.
