Excellent set of lacquered twelve wooden plates, circa late Qing Dynasty, in carrying frame. These would have used by a street food seller where the food would have been cooked on the spot and served to hungry customers, please note that one side of carrier hinges out make easy access to the plates. These are still quite usable, for picnics etc. There are few checks in the frame but all the plates are in fine condition. Plates D: 20.5cm/8in and H: 3.5cm/1.2in- frame height: 46.5cm/18in.
