| Rare crisply cast bronze bell with reticulated and knobbed pattern from the Warring States to Han period. Originally this piece would have had a wooden handle. There are some old and worn chips on one side of the mouth which are due oxidation, having said this it the rest of the piece is stable and still has some tone when struck. Maximum H: 8.2cm/3.2in and base W: 6.5cm/2.5in. This would make an excellent study piece or collectable (given the high prices for any ancient Chinese bronze with a pattern). | |||||||||
