Ding type bowl
stock number: 1898
price: ~Sold to Sweden,Tackar så mycket~ $1200.USD/$9200.HKD
description:
Exceptionally rare and fine large circa 10th CE, conical Ding type bowl with notched rim, semi opaque greenish white glaze that runs down the side in typical Ding style. The center of the foot is inset compared to the thinner crisply carved footrim. The presence of three “spur marks” in the center of the bowl indicate this is probably from the Huozhou Kiln, in Shanxi, however I would not rule out this might be Liao. This piece is in perfect original condition and has a clear porcelaneous ring when tapped. D: 19cm/7.5in and H: 6.2cm/2.5in
