Exceptionally fine pierced white Jade nephrite in Zitan wood setting, Qing Dynasty, with “bat amongst peaches” carving. This jade is a section from a hairpin while wood came from a piece of old Qing Zitan furniture, I had recently commissioned to set this lovely piece of Jade in. L: 7cm/2.8in and W: 3.2cm/1.2in.
