| Fine and quirky bronze image of seated monk, devotee, saint, acolyte or generic holy man with his hands held in the namaskara mudra. Elegant and simple this is a mysterious piece that can only be identified if seen in context with the other figures of an ensemble, (which I don’t have), this might well be a Jain saint. Anyway there is a small hole at base and dates to pre 18th CE. H: 5cm/2in and W: 4.1cm and 1.6in. | ||||||||
