Fine Ge type glazed incense burner circa mid 19th CE Qing Dynasty. Part of one of the lion’s mask handles is broken and cracked, as well as a chip off the nose of the other,and crack that only goes into the surface of the body but not all the way the through-noted in enlargements, sort of a case where you can’t see the cracks from the crackles. This is a beautiful example of Qing Ge type glaze and would make good study piece or addition to collection. D: 11.7cm/4.6in and H: 7.3cm/2.8in.
