Rare and exquisite carved wooden Thai Buddha circa 17th/18th CE. This small piece is in near perfect condition with only a small chip at the tip of the flame and minor crack on the base. The base and image have been carved separately but are of the Ayutthaya period and possibly may be sandalwood. H: 10.8cm/4.2in.
