| Very rare small stoneware jar with wide mouth, dating to 5th or 6th CE. This piece is quite heavily potted with a white slip and yellowish overglaze and “iron spots” decoration. There are no cracks or chips but some fritting on the glaze as may be noticed in enlargements. H: 7.9cm/3.1in and D: 9cm/3.5. | ||||||||
