Nice old Cambodian woven bamboo lacquered scroll box with simple a mother of pearl inlay design, circa late 19th to early 20th CE. Fine and rare classical old Cambodian silk lower garment, approximately 60 to 90 years old. This piece may be worn either by men or women. It was originally sewn together and stepped into like a sarong skirt however it was given one fold in the front and then twisted from the bottom and pulled between the legs and tucked in the front and secured to the waist with a silk sash or belt to form a pantaloon type garment The frog pattern is very rare and the only one of I have yet to see...

Unique clear glass Sino Tibetan image of a Dakini, most likely cast from a mold. Basically even with the usual clay images it is problematic dating them as the molds may be old but the item recently made, this piece has traces of compacted soil, surface pitting and wear, as well as small Ming Dynasty Buddhist and Taoist clear glass charms having been documented, I feel a circa 100 year plus is a conservative dating...

Rare “Phra Ha Roi” (literally 500 Buddhas but in practice means a lot of tiny images) late Haripunchai, terra cotta votive fragment. This piece dates to the late period circa 12th-13th CE from the last remaining Mon city state in what is now Thailand that was eventually conquered and assimilated into the Northern Thai Lanna Kingdom. Pair of “opium scales” from Laos, these came from Luang Prabang but were used through much of Southeast Asia. Most likely these were used in everyday trading whether it was pork meat to big chunks of opium and are quite simple with lead applied to one end as a counterweight and the scale being measured in hash marks along the sides. The opposite ends have been inlaid with small rectangular pieces of a darker wood (possibly buffalo horn?), a subtle but attractive decoration...

Quirky glass ring emulating agate. This piece came from China but possibly is a trade object. I acquired this in a lot of other ancient pieces. A conservative dating to this is Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and guarantees it to this period. There is one crack as well as some bubble burst pitting on the surface. Outer D: 2.8cm and inner D: 1.9cm.

Genuine antique Shan lacquer box circa late 19thCE. Most Burmese lacquer being offered on the internet purported to be antique are vintage at best and new at worst. I acquired this in Yunnan, China along the Burmese border but of Shan (nationality in China). Although there is some damage the craftsmanship is exquisite which is why I put a grain of sand in a couple of the images to put the work into perspective...

Old (100 years or more) leather belt from Tibet with 5 damascened silver patterns on iron fittings with complete buckle. There is some rust on the metal bits, maybe some Silvo polish on them will bring some of the shine back to the silver. All the pieces seem to be here except for a scabbard attachment. Total L: 118cm/46.5in. I bought this the Barkor bazaar in front of the Jokang in Lhasa almost 20 years ago; the leather is rough but serviceable.
