Abhaya Asian Antiques
Old (100 years or more) leather belt from Tibet with 5 damascened/niello (don’t know what this technique is called) but it appears to be a silver metal patterns on iron fittings with complete buckle. Total L: 118cm/46.5in. I bought this the Barkor bazaar in front of the Jokang in Lhasa about 30 years ago; the leather is rough but serviceable.

Bonze Ding “sacrificial vessel”, lost wax cast in the style of the Han Dynasty, good quality reproduction. Unusual in that this has not had the patina significantly chemically altered to mimic and ancient piece. There are incised archaic characters on the surface. H: 21cm/8.2 and W: 28cm/9.9in.

Lovely small three legged cooking vessel from the Han Dynasty. The legs are in the shape of small bears and the handles on the lid seem to resemble wing tips. There is a lot of restoration on this piece in the cooking basin, one the legs has been reattached, so please view the enlargements carefully. There is some warpage to the lid as well, but it is the original one. D: 12.4cm/4.9in and H: 10.4cm/4.4in.

Very rare Han Dynasty four bodied Ding. The four basins was cast all as a single piece using the the lost “wax casting method” which is a testament to their skill and technique. Encrusted with heavy azurite and malachite verdigris- aside from a couple of small holes is intact, there is no breakage. The entire piece has a diagonal Width: 30cm/11.8in. Individual D: 12cm and H: 13cm/5.1in. See last enlargement (sorry about the quality of the image)for reference.
