Large Liao Dynasty, dark amber glazed Gangwa ware jar from the Chifeng Kiln, Inner Mongolia. The Liao were a non Han culture that ruled in Manchuria and parts of Mongolia 907-1125 CE. This shape is fairly unique to Liao ceramics as it seeks to emulate Turkic West Asian metal work drinking vessels. There is fritting on the edge of the shoulder and mouthrim (clearly visible in enlargements) but otherwise in good condition with no breakage or cracks...

Fine and rare antique panel from Tujia minority, in Guizhou, Southern China wedding blanket with butterfly and lotus scroll motifs (please note that this type of lotus scrolling is an adaptation/interpretation of Ming blue and white ceramics). Ayutthaya period circa Thai Buddha 16th CE small standing Buddha with rare “namaskara” mudra. The head broke from the neck (and subsequently repaired- see enlargements) off revealing a ceramic core and the most of the robe on the left side is missing. This piece will stand on its own but I do suggest that it be propped up or fixed onto something. H: 13.5cm/5.2in.

Rare high fired Qingbai bottle with original lid, there was one blob of glaze on the side which I have covered with gold leaf (if you can’t hide- decorate). If one were patient enough you could probably polish it down to reveal a green glass like area. There is one tiny chip on the bottom of lid otherwise no damage. Circa Song or Yuan Dynasty. H: 6cm/10.2in and D: 14cm/5.5in.
