Unique Blanc de Chine shard depicting twin boys, at least Qing Dynasty. L: 10.5cm/4.2in. This piece is hand sculpted and attached to a larger piece. It is sculpturally a really lovely piece with a blue hue to the normally white glaze, it has been suggested to me that this is Qingbai because of this. Included is a smaller Dehua kiln molded figure probably Republic Era, H: 5cm/2in.

Fine pottery basin from the bronze age Ban Chiang culture, Thailand, circa 500 CE or earlier. This is the only Ban Chiang pot I have seen with absolutely no damage or restoration. There are traces of ochre pigment on the rim. Include are two smaller pots that were excavated in Suphanburi Province, Thailand and corresponding period. All three were not thrown a wheel but were potted by coiling the clay and then molding it by hand...

Three very old stoneware jars. Left to right description and dimensions as follows: #1 Black stoneware jar from a Southern Kiln, possibly a Guangdong, i.e., Xicun or Bijiashan, probably Five Dynasties. The thin glaze and shape remind me of Tang, Changsha ware but wrong kind of clay. Some fritting on the rim. H: 8.8cm/3.4in and D: 6cm/2.5in...

Gilt copper repousse head of a fierce Tibetan divine being. This was part of a much larger statue so it is difficult to specifically date and identify without seeing it in its original context, but is certainly an old piece 60 to 100 years or more. Possibly it was worn a necklace by a huge statue of a Yiddam or Dharmapala. H: 8cm/3.in. A perspex stand (H: 16cm/6.2) is included, but this not a custom made piece.

Nice old Tibetan rug with wool warp and weft. The knots are quite big which gives a pleasant folksy feel. There is one hole and a small tear on the side (noted in enlargements), the colors are muted and pastel, I am guessing this has a combination of aniline and natural dyes and would date this to late 19th/early 20th century. L: 148cm/58in and W: 87cm/34in.

Nice circa late 19th century seated Buddha with Bhumiparsa mudra and Pali or Devanagari dedication stippled on the base. This piece has detachable nimbus do I am assuming it is either Nepali or Indian origin. This is a very solid piece with a tangible “presence”. Total H: 15.2cm/6in.

Rare silk Cambodian ikat lower garment L: 288cm/113.in and W: 90cm/35.5in with twill weave; unique to Khmer textiles. This skill died out during the reign of the Khmer Rouge and has not yet recovered the skills and technique to make a textile of this quality. The size of this piece indicates it would have been worn by an upper class family much like a pantaloon with center being passed through the legs and tucked into the waist...

Rare two paneled “wedding blanket” from the tiny Mulao minority people of only approximately 200,000 people from northern Guangxi Zhuang Province, with silk brocade symbols on cotton warp and weft foundation highlighted by a floating weft “key fret” pattern throughout- this piece is 80 to 100 years. The weaving of Mulao textiles may now be considered an extinct craft as no one is doing this anymore...

Fantastic classic Ming celadon bowl from the Longquan kiln, unfortunately the photos do not do this piece justice. It is a heavy, meaty piece at just under near one l kilo/2 lbs in weight. It is just about one shade darker from being classified as a “sea green”, the best approximation to matching the color may seen in enlargement 3 showing the pattern of the impressed chrysanthemum...
