One of kind, 80 years plus, Lanna style ironwood coconut scraper, with antique inset glass eyes (they glow like a cat’s if you shine a light into them). This is the only one I have ever seen and probably the only one I ever will. Excellent condition and VERY heavy- L: 38cm/14.8in (without scraper) and H: 15cm/6in.

Exceptionally rare Northern Dynasties to Sui Dynasty (420-618 CE) high footed celadon bowl with four raised “stippled” medallions. One medallion has numerous bubble bursts caused by tiny pockets of air trapped under the glaze during firing otherwise perfect original condition. D: 12.2cm/4.8in and H:8.2cm/3.2in.

Fine and rare classical old Cambodian silk lower garment, approximately 60 to 90 years old. This piece may be worn either by men or women. Rare early, circa 17th century Buddha from the Champasak Kingdom. This unusual regional style fuses both Lao and Khmer influences. Fine old large votive plaque (saccha) from the classic Pagan era circa 1100-1200 CE. This molded clay piece with a deep inset image of the Buddha flanked by 9 stupas on each side and a three lined Nagari script dedication at the bottom. Very good detail for a piece of this age with a couple of chips on the right side. H: 18cm/7in and W: 11.5cm/4.5in. Very rare late 19th- to early 20th CE storage basket from the Bidayuh people of Sarawak. For basket collectors this is a real “classic”. The lid is made from the skin of a sambar deer while the basket plaiting is all rattan with some bamboo slats on one side as a cushion; also the basket is lined inside with peeled wood. There are a few very minor repairs and holes here and there but overall I would consider this piece in very good condition given its age and environment...
