Small bottle vase with scholar and mountain scene- porcelain from end of Ming to the beginning of the Qing Dynasty (1620-1683 CE) and is very rare and expensive, so this is good opportunity for a collector to acquire a piece from this period at an affordable price. The mouth rim has been ground down and has some chips. Please note that this is more graceful looking in real life than the images indicate as my photo editing software seems to truncate things a bit...

Good high fired Jin or Yuan Dynasty Cizhou type jar with brown glaze with black flecks and splashes and paired handles. There is a firing crack inside the bottom but does not go all the way through and kiln grit, otherwise no damage. H: 10.5cm/4.1in and D: 14.5cm/5.8in.

Good Turkmen Tekke “Bukhara” carpet. This piece has a few tiny holes that can’t be seen when lying on the floor and minor repairs. Rare vintage/antique Tibetan carpet with some writing (sorry I can’t translate). The pile is soft and shiny while the foundation is undyed wool warp and weft. The colored dyes are aniline and there is one area where the dye ran and one end has been had seamless reweave: both noted in the last two enlargements...

Good Jizhou glazed jar with lid circa Southern Song Dynasty. Please note that the lid and body are slightly different as the lid’s glaze lacks the cracalature of the body with more of “tea dust” type glaze. Possibly from the same kiln- “matched but not married”. Having said this they look good together and unless closely scrutinized its hard to notice...

Unusual heavily glazed and potted celadon Ming Dynasty jar with original lid. The glaze is quite thick with a lovely symmetrical and cracalature. I have seen similarly shaped ceramics in blue and white dated Ming, but this is a conservative best guess on my part, this could just as easily be Yuan. There is a chip on the lid glued back into place with original the tip of the finial is worn off which may be viewed in enlargements. D: 12cm/4.8in and H: 11cm4.3in

Nice collection of six old silk embroidered pictorial panels. These would date from late Qing to Republic Period 1890-1930, and were probably originally sold by the Friendship Store or Yue Hwa China Products Store about 30 years ago. The borders are machine made vintage but the embroidery is all hand done. There is a small tear on one noted in enlargement 6#, (actually very difficult to see and if lying flat almost invisible)...

Rare three paneled Tibetan monastic runner carpet circa mid 19th century- all wool, warp, weft, and pile. The green and red key fret border sort of “pops” on this piece and it is made with all natural dyes. There are a few small holes but nothing egregious, fairly typical for rustically woven Tibet rug. The ends (5cm/2in) have been redone with old wool, as well as one repair in center panel- noted in enlargements and typical wear, where the monks would have sat...

Rare three paneled Tibetan Buddhist Temple monastic carpet woven in Ningxia circa 1920. The center medallions are Taoist Yin/Yang symbols on a key fret field bordered by a row of “jewels”. This piece is worn where the monks would have sat in meditation and originally may have been 30 feet long. The ends appear to be original however the entire length of the rug has been rewoven on one side to the depth of 9cm/3.5in noted in enlargements. W: 69.5cm/27in and L: 195cm/77in.

Exceptionally rare Southern Song, Zhejiang celadon water dropper in the shape of a double gourd ewer with a fine glaze. Good Ming celadon bowl from the Longquan kiln. This has three old compression cracks and one small glaze chip noted in enlargements. I bought this because of shape; I quite liked the way the mouth narrows a bit. This piece is less truncated in real life than the photos might indicate. D: 12.5cm/4.7in and H: 7.2cm/2.89in.
